Tuition is paid on a Quarter system. Quarters run 11-12 weeks, (check the lesson schedule page), lessons are weekly. These are private lessons, one-on-one, so new students may begin at any time and the tuition will be prorated.
Tuition for the quarter is due at the first lesson, payable in 1 or 2-payments. The second half tuition is due the 5th week of the quarter. New and potential voice students may schedule a one-time lesson evaluation before committing to the entire quarter. Ask about scheduling a one-time lesson. The cost is $40 for this 45-minute evaluation.
Piano Lessons--------$25/30 minutes $37.50/45 minutes $50/hour
New students may begin at any time, provided there is space, and tuition will be prorated for the remaining lessons of the quarter.
These are private, one on one lessons, taught by professional music instructors.
Most beginning students need only a 30 minute lesson but students who take 45 minute or hour lessons generally progress more quickly.
Adult and intermediate level students need 45 minute or hour lessons. Piano students at or above level 3 also need longer lessons. 45 minute or hour voice lessons are recommended for ages 18 through adult and for voice students with prior vocal training.
Cancellation Policy: Please schedule your lessons carefully. Your tuition payment guarantees your weekly time-slot which cannot be re-used in your absence. Students are expected to be at lessons each week and will be charged for every lesson included on the teacher's studio calendar. Refunds are not given for student absences. In the event of a teacher cancellation a make-up lesson will be offered or a credit will be applied to the next tuition payment.
Lesson make-ups are determined/ arranged individually by each teacher.

For PIANO LESSONS: The most commonly asked question here is 'DO I NEED A PIANO?' to have lessons.... The answer is, you need a 61-key keyboard (at least---76-key is better), with a PEDAL, in order to practice for piano lessons. It doesn't need to be a piano, but there needs to be an instrument in your home in order for the student to practice and progress.
